Registration at the First Line webpage is FREE. If you register, you can participate in all of the contests on the page (including those introduced in the future). As a registered user, you can create only one team in each of the ongoing contests.

Poor knowledge of the rules is not an excuse in case you breach them!

We reserve the right to change the rules (in exceptional cases); you will be informed of any changes in the news.

It is prohibited to:

• use vulgar logins, team names and league names (offending and similar words),
• swear in the forum and use offending words (remember, this game is also played by children),
• publish posts in the forum and in the mail that violate the law or promote crime,
• offend, threaten and verbally attach other players in the forum and in the mail,
• cheat, abuse possible errors in the game and gaps in the rules.

Account cancellation
A player’s account can be cancelled in the following cases:

• inactive for more than 100 days,
• multiple accounts run by a single person,
• repeated multiple violation of the rules,
• cheating, abuse or failure to report discovered errors in the game.

If your account is erased, you will irreversibly lose all your teams in the contests!

You can play each active contest
At one time, you can therefore control several teams. Switching between the teams is possible in multiple ways and through the Contests page (this allows you to open current contests as well as to look at the results of previous contests or at information on contests in preparation), trough the My First Lines page (list of all of your teams) or from a pop-up field in the left menu.

Basic game description:

• Your goal is to select 6 players from your team (3 forwards, 2 defensemen and a goalkeeper). During the contest, you can change them in light of your team’s financial budget, and the prices of all players can change during the contest depending on the results.
• A playing date is always determined by which you can change your team (usually at least 15 minutes before the first match of the day; in case of NHL night games, the time is 23:59, unless a game is played earlier). Your line-up is therefore valid for matches played on the given day and any changes you make after the close will only appear on the following day.
• When all the matches of the game day is played, the players will be evaluated on the basis of the scoring table.
• Each day, you can make a limited number of changes (player substitutions) on your team!
• The financial budget for each team is €10.000.000.

The players’ performance in each match they play is rated as follows (look at the abbreviations in the square brackets, you will find them all in the statistics and tables)::

• goals [AG] and assists [AA] by forwards (20 and 10 points, respectively)
• goals [DG] and assists [DA] by defensemen (30 and 15 points, respectively)
• hattrick bonus [G3] (+20 points)
• player’s game-winning goal [GW] (+20 points)
• powerplay [PP] or short-handed [SH] goals (if statistics are available, +10 and +20 points, respectively)
• shots by forwards and defensemen [S] (if statistics are available, multiple of +2 points)
• plus/minus rating [+/-] (if statistics are available, multiple of +5 points)
• penalties in minutes [PIM] (if statistics are available, multiple of -2 points, max. -30 points)
• game misconduct penalty [GM] (if statistics are available, -30 points)
• number of saves, saved shots [S] (multiple of 2 points)
• conceded goals [G] (multiple of -5 points)
• shutout bonus [SO] (+30 points)
• win by goalkeeper [WG] (+20 points)
• tie by goalkeeper [TG] (+10 points)
• penalties in minutes [PIM] (if statistics are available, multiple of -5 points, max. -30 points)

• a forward achieves in a match: 1[AG], 0[AA], 0[G3], 0[GW], 1[PP], 0[SH], 2[S], +2[+/-], 2[PIM], 0[GM] = 40 points

• a goalkeeper achieves in a match: 27[S], 0[G], 1[SO], 1[WG], 0[TG], 0[PIM] = 104 points

Each registered player can participate in contests for prizes. The number of winners and the prizes will be determined always before the contest starts; you will always find information on the prizes in the profile of each contest. Getting a prize from some sponsors may be conditional upon registration at their webpage (the sponsor may also determine the conditions for delivering the prize).

ZPlayers who breached the rules or cheated can be eliminated from the final ranking when the contest is over. The winners will be officially announced in the news and will be contacted via their email address specified during registration. If the winner fails to respond within 7 days of the official end of the contest and announcement of the results in the news, the prize will be given to the next player in the final rankings (the seven-day term for claiming the prize is also valid for these substitutes).

Prizes cannot be exchanged! If you deserve a win for which registration at the partner’s page is necessary or other conditions have to be met and you are not willing to do so within 14 days, the prize will be given to the next player in the final rankings. Prizes cannot be recovered! Of course, an incorrect email address in the profile is your problem, not ours. This is just to warn you to make sure that you do not lose your prize because you do not receive an email.
